Amanda Hannah has been employed as Business Development Executive with Dumfries & Galloway Chamber of Commerce since January 2007.

She started her career as an NVQ Assessor/Internal Verifier with various training providers in Dumfries. She has also worked closely with businesses and schools in Dumfries and Galloway as an Enterprise in Education Adviser with Careers Scotland, as a Social Education Worker with Aberlour Child Care Trust and prior to working with the Chamber, as Careers and Education Manager covering the whole of Scotland with The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in Edinburgh. 

Amanda has a wealth of experience in project management, event organisation and partnership working and has an MA (Hons) Degree in Modern History and a Postgraduate Diploma in Community Education from the University of Dundee. She is currently working towards an MA NVQ Level 4 in Management.
