PACE Redundancy Support
If you are facing redundancy or are newly unemployed, there is help at hand.
PACE (Partnership Action for Continuing Employment) is a Scottish Government initiative provided by public sector organisations - mainly Skills Development Scotland and Jobcentre Plus.
It can help you to take an objective view of your options
- perhaps help you consider moving to a new industry or type of job. PACE's trained advisers will look at your skills, at what is happening in the employment market and help you decide on the right choices for you.
The service is available to people who are employed or unemployed, at Skills Development Scotland and Jobcentre Plus offices and workplaces throughout Scotland. It is free and can be accessed by calling 0808 100 1855 or visiting http://www.skillsdevelopmentscotland.co.uk/Redundancy.aspx/pace.aspx
