Showcase Dumfries

The Chamber has acquired 100 High Street as part of a wider regeneration project with Dumfries and Galloway Council.  The building has been refurbished and a group of artists are working up a detailed business plan to operate this as the Stove.  The project will provide an opportunity for exhibitions, events, presentations and talks as well as space for new artists to work.

To accommodate the Stove there will need to be some further internal works and this will include the intallaton of a lift to make all three floor fully accessible.  This work will be done in 2012 (subject to funding) with and opening planned for November 2012.
