The role of Member Services Manager is a challenging and rewarding one, you will be the face of DGChamber.
Helping businesses region wide to grow and develop -
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE.
Recruit new members and ensure that CHURN is kept to a minimum.
Work with the President, Directors and staff to ensure a sustainable Chamber and to create long term growth through the introduction of such schemes as will add value either to the Chamber itself or by adding value to the membership.
Work with the Chamber team to maintain regular contact with the membership.
Using electronic communication methods promote Chamber events and services.
Plan and deliver a series of planned events supporting members, introducing key stakeholders and MP/MSPs across our region.
Recruit new members using whatever method of contact is appropriate.
Manage CHURN within the membership.
Develop, organise and maintain an up to date CRM System.
Work with the President to carry out research about Members requirements and to seek out their issues so that appropriate programmes can be put in place to meet their needs.
Work with the President to put in place a ‘Partners for Business Growth Strategy’.The funds derived from this source will be used to fund ongoing growth and development.
Develop Sponsorship opportunities either to assist with events or to provide tangible services or projects.
Examine good practice in other Chambers or organisations to see how these might benefit the Chamber
Represent the Chamber at events or functions as required and work to ensure the Chamber profile is maintained at a high level.
Work with partners and stakeholders at local, national and government level to oversee, input and at times manage projects which will contribute to development of the local economy
Carry out such other tasks as may be required by the President
