We are currently recruiting directors from our membership to join the board.
The Board of Directors are responsible for the governance of the Chamber, setting the strategy direction and agreeing the strategic objectives.
As the voice of business in Dumfries and Galloway, we want to ensure as best a representation across our diverse membership as possible in terms of sector, business size and location.
The Board meets 10 times a year and Directors may also be invited to serve on Committees such as the Finance, Strategy and Planning Committee, and the Nominations and Remuneration Committee. The term of office for Directors is 3 years with an option of a further 2 time 3 years periods.
If you are interested and have the relevant expertise and experience to bring added value to the Board, this is an exciting opportunity to personally contribute to policy discussions relating to key issues that are important to Chamber members, ensuring the Chamber meets its legislative and financial requirements, and promoting the Chamber.
